My life in brief.

November 2025 – Present Voluntary Work

Federal Agency For Technical Relief – Volunteer

To contribute something good to society alongside my job, I volunteered as a helper at THW Duisburg. Here I hope to make an important contribution to civil and disaster protection with my broad range of skills and interests in craftsmanship and technology.

April 2023 – Present

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot – Senior Frontend Developer

Back away from product development, towards diverse client projects. With my UX background and my skills as a frontend developer, I work with my team to develop the best solution for our clients’ use cases. No longer just in Vue.js, but increasingly with React (Next.js) and Astro as well. By now, I am also no longer solely involved in development — as a 1-on-1 partner, I also take care of the well-being and professional growth of my colleagues.

July 2022 – March 2023

IBM iX – Senior Frontend Developer

Together with my team, I supported an international client — both in maintaining and further developing the product. Beyond this core responsibility, I engaged with other developers and designers in their respective domains and worked on a project to improve understanding of and for blind users.

January 2022 – May 2022

Sdui – UX Engineer

As a member of the Core Squad, I was responsible for a broad area of the app. In addition to my software development tasks, I contributed my experience in agile methodologies and effective cross-team collaboration within the same domain.

June 2021 – December 2021

Raidboxes – UX Engineer

I was responsible for the user experience of our product as well as the marketing website. For this reason, I worked closely with both the marketing and engineering teams. With the marketing team, I supported the relaunch of raidboxes.io and the development of the new brand identity. In the engineering team, I helped with the transition from PHP to modern Vue.js frontend development and resolved our customers’ existing issues.

November 2020 – May 2021

VOLL digital – UX Engineer

I conceptualized and developed software projects of various sizes. From small company websites, to a modern customer-centric apartment search platform, all the way to a multisite monorepo headlessly connected to a CMS — the range was broad. In my daily work, I organized the team and shared my knowledge with colleagues or prepared workshops with clients.

April 2018 – October 2020

sum.cumo – UX Engineer

During my time at sum.cumo, I was able to focus more on implementation again. Here I learned to work with Vue.js from the very beginning and to build various component-based frontends. In my daily work, I also implemented landing pages and helped conceptualize an entirely new product for a well-established insurance company. As mentioned above, I was integrated into the team on the client side and supported the Product Owner through direct collaboration. I expanded the website and self-service portal and helped shape the product vision. What I enjoyed most was the rapid iteration in short design sprints. Alongside project work, I engaged with other frontend developers and designers in the UX Weekly, improved our development workflow, and established a company-wide accessibility standard.

November 2016 – March 2018

Krankikom – Frontend Developer / UX Concepter

At Krankikom, among other things, I conceptualized a portal for Siemens and implemented it as an interactive click dummy using Jekyll. I explored new technologies such as CSS Grid and Progressive Web Apps and prepared a workshop to encourage knowledge sharing on these topics. For smaller clients, I helped with the implementation of corporate websites, both on the frontend and with CMS integration. Beyond that, I helped wherever technical or usability questions arose.

February 2016 – October 2016

Q:Marketing – Frontend Developer

In the time after my apprenticeship, I created newsletters and mobile landing pages for Telekom and gave the advertised image database a more modern, accessible structure. I also implemented a variation of this platform for Congstar. Shortly before I resigned, I won a pitch for the agency at Studienkreis. Together with a backend colleague, I developed a hybrid app based on Ionic.

August 2013 – February 2016

Q:Marketing – Apprenticeship as Media Designer (Digital)

Already during my apprenticeship, I designed corporate websites and implemented them in various CMS platforms. One of my biggest tasks was an augmented reality app. I was responsible for the concept, the design, the coordination of external developers, and the creation of all assets in 2D and 3D.

August 2012 – July 2013

TSAMedien – 3D Illustrator

Right after graduating, I started working as an illustrator at TSAMedien, where I created illustrations for more than 60 articles in the computer magazine CT. There I learned to visualize complex topics in a simple and understandable way.

July 2012

Steinbart Gymnasium – Abitur (German University Entrance Qualification) (ø 2.8)
