DateJar is another hobby project that I developed together with my wife. Originally, the whole thing was supposed to be an actual jar with slips of paper, but I was itching to use GraphCMS in combination with nuxt.js.

The idea: To break out of the pandemic routine at least one day a week and spend some quality time together, we created a collection of activities that are selected by a random generator.

The twist: I only know my own entries and my wife only knows hers. Every Saturday morning, we draw together and prepare the activity.

The implementation took roughly one morning and the concept works just as planned.
