What kind of cookie cutters do you have at home? Let me guess and say that you probably have a star, a Christmas tree, maybe a gingerbread man, and surely at least one “fancier” shape. My girlfriend recently discussed this question with one of her colleagues, who during her last cookie baking session was able to stamp out a penis from the dough without any issues since she had the cutter at home, but had to shape vulvas and breasts by hand. While you can easily get your hands on food in penis shapes (pasta, lollipops, cookie cutters, …), the female counterpart is unfortunately extremely underrepresented here.
That ends today — the first batch of Feministmas Cookies can be downloaded on Thingiverse! The package includes the first vulva designs and “bookies” in various versions.

Why is it still taboo today to show a vulva and integrate it into everyday life? And if you’re already starting to break this taboo, why not do it right away with a colorful bouquet of the various shapes the vulva comes in?
Because: Every vulva is beautiful, no matter what shape.
That’s how we came up with the idea of designing our own cookie cutters and bringing this beautiful and endless diversity into the Christmas bakeries of the country.
And since my girlfriend enjoys wielding the digital brush and I have both the knowledge and the tools to turn the idea into reality, we got right to it, designing and printing the first shapes.
But that’s not all. There is endless diversity and everyone can contribute their own variation, so I want to open up the project. All designs, all print files, all instructions will be published and made freely accessible.
You lack the know-how or the time to build a model, but you’d still like to submit a design? No problem! All I need is your illustration and some time. As soon as your model is available, I’ll notify you!
